About Me:  My name is John Neidel, and I am a graduate student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.  UNL has allowed me to further my sports broadcasting career while working towards my master's degree in broadcast journalism.  I graduated from Baylor University in May of 2008.  I had many terrific opportunities to gain valuable experience in broadcasting during my time at Baylor.  My goal is to be the radio voice of a major university.

Awards: I won the Eric Sevareid award for best student play-by-play given out by the Northwest Broadcast News Association, which is the nation's oldest and 2nd largest broadcast news association.
